Before joining James &amp; Wells in 2016, he worked with prominent IP litigation specialist Andrew Brown QC for five years and held litigation roles at two leading commercial law firms.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Managing Partner, Tim Walden says \u201cJason is a key member of our litigation team, which has been recognised as the largest dedicated IP litigation team in New Zealand. Jason combines vast technical expertise with an ability to really understand and advocate for clients. We are very happy to have him on board as a Partner.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Jason has extensive experience acting for local and international businesses and assisting them with obtaining and enforcing IP rights. He has appeared as counsel (including as junior counsel to prominent senior counsel) in numerous proceedings at all levels of New Zealand Courts and tribunals including the Supreme Court, Court of Appeal, High Court, IPONZ tribunals and the Copyright Tribunal.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Jason\u2019s practice covers all areas of IP including patents, designs, copyright, trade marks, passing off and confidential information.
