Her cross-jurisdictional experience enables her to assist clients with brand protection strategies extending across multiple markets.

Experience

Anaïs has developed her career within leading intellectual property and brand protection environments in France. Most recently, she held the role of Trade Mark Lawyer at a Paris-based intellectual property law firm, where she led the domain names department, advising on the management and protection of large domain name portfolios and related disputes. She was also in charge of the trade mark portfolio of a leading company in the semiconductor industry. In 2024, she became a qualified Trade Mark Attorney within France and European Union.

Since relocating to New Zealand, Anaïs has gained experience within the local IP landscape at James & Wells, supporting trade mark prosecution and portfolio management across IPONZ, IP Australia and international jurisdictions.

Prior to this, she also worked as an intellectual property lawyer at a Paris-based digital brand protection company, building a strong foundation across online enforcement, domain name disputes, and anti-counterfeiting matters.
