About George

George is an Associate with the litigation team based out of Tauranga. George’s practice includes dispute and enforcement of a range of intellectual property rights, but with a particular focus on trade mark and Fair Trading Act 1986 matters.

George has over two years’ experience as a District Court Judges’ Clerk for the Tauranga District Court, which gives him insight into the court processes and a particular affinity for research and preparing written material.

With a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, George has an avid interest in many aspects of Technology, particularly Artificial Intelligence and the regulation of new and emerging technologies.

Born and raised in Mount Maunganui, outside of work George can (very) occasionally be found around the Mount itself, or on the Mount main beach. George’s interests also include coding small programs and scripting in his spare time, video gaming, and digital painting of landscapes or character/people focused paintings.
