Jennifer has 20 years’ experience in intellectual property gained in New Zealand and the UK, including running her own IP practice in New Zealand for nine years.

Jennifer enjoys working with clients to determine effective and practical protection strategies for their business. Her expertise includes patent drafting and prosecution in the fields of chemistry, medical devices, food, and fibre technologies, along with the preparation and filing of design registrations. She has extensive experience providing opinions on patent infringement and patentability, undertaking IP due diligence and helping clients develop IP portfolios to support the future needs of their business.

She is a registered New Zealand and Australian patent attorney and a fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Patent Attorneys.

When she isn’t working Jen enjoys skiing and is a member of her local ski club. She is a keen cook, enthusiastic reader, occasional tennis player, and key project manager for her busy family.
