Beshara has a Ph.D. in Cancer Cell Biology from University of London and a BSc with Honours in Cancer Immunology from The University of Queensland. Her Ph.D investigated the expression and function of Prostate Specific Membrane Antigen in prostate cancer. Her areas of particular expertise include cancer biology, including molecular mechanisms of disease progression and therapeutic targeting; translational oncology, including biomarker discovery, DNA damage response, and receptor-targeted therapies; and commercialisation of life sciences innovations, including commercial grant drafting, market analysis, and early-stage asset evaluation. She also brings experience in stakeholder engagement across academia and industry, and strategic insight generation in oncology, rare diseases, and metabolic disorders.
