About Greg
Greg has a long career in intellectual property, having previously served as a Principal at Griffith Hack in Melbourne.
Greg holds a Bachelor of Materials Engineering and is a Registered Patent (Australia and New Zealand) and Trade Mark Attorney (Australia). He is a Fellow of IPTA and has played a significant role in the Asian Patent Attorneys Association, serving as its President from 2021 to 2023 and now a Past President.
Greg provides advice to a small group of clients in the mining, minerals processing, steelmaking, solar, and advanced manufacturing industries, on IP strategies, IP portfolio management, patent filing and prosecution, patent litigation, and the commercialisation of intellectual property.
Early in his career Greg worked as an in-house patent attorney for a large Australian mining company. He credits this for giving him insight into the complex and changing needs of clients. Since then, Greg has been seconded to clients a number of times while in private practice and regards these secondments as important to his development as a patent attorney.
