Chloe is a fluent speaker of Mandarin and English and liaises with our Asian clients to establish their needs, before teaming up with our commercial, patents and trade marks divisions to work out a plan of action. She manages client relationships and assists with the Asia Division’s business development strategy.
Chloe started with James & Wells in 2014 and since that time has acquired a great breadth of IP knowledge through working in both patent and trade mark focussed teams. Chloe’s knowledge and skills give her the ability to assist clients with all aspects of intellectual property, including the availability, protection and maintenance of their brands in Australia, New Zealand and overseas.
Chloe oversees the trade mark portfolios of some significant Australasian export companies as well as Chinese companies with large trade mark and patent portfolios in Australia and New Zealand.
Chloe was raised in Yunnan Province and educated in China and New Zealand. In New Zealand she gained a degree in Aviation Management from Massey University. Prior to joining James & Wells, Chloe worked as a client manager for China Construction Bank, communicating and liaising with high-profile clients.
In her free time, Chloe loves getting outdoors and is an avid gardener. She is also a keen traveller with regular trips back to China and other parts of South East Asia. She currently has her sights set on Europe.
