James & Wells are delighted to announce that Hazell Fernandez has qualified as a Patent Attorney.

Joining the patents team in 2017, Auckland-based Hazell has a degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Auckland. She specialises in mechanical and electrical technologies, particularly medical technology. Hazell’s work focuses on patent prosecution, drafting patent specifications and patent-related research.

Hazell has also recently obtained a Master of Laws through Victoria University of Wellington.
