About Alexia

Alexia is an experienced Australian and New Zealand intellectual property (IP) litigator. Alexia’s practice includes patent, trade mark and copyright infringement, patent and trade mark oppositions, breach of confidence, IP ownership disputes, misleading and deceptive conduct, and IP licensing.

Originally from Australia, Alexia joined James & Wells in 2019. Prior to that, Alexia worked for more than 15 years as a litigator in the IP group at Allens (an Australian based international law firm), gaining significant experience in Federal Court and High Court proceedings.

She provides commercially relevant advice to clients in a wide range of industries, including medical devices, animal health, food and beverages, pharmaceuticals, and mining.

Alexia enjoys exploring New Zealand, music, paddle boarding, and spending time with her children.
